  • Fully differentiated unit types (3 hours)
    • Archers, Warriors, and Shieldbearers have different strengths and statistics, archers have ranged combat functionality
    • Catapults only attack towers
    • Week7_UnitEngagementSnippet
      Updated unit engagement. Only archers engage with engaged units, others will ignore them, and catapults target solely towers
  • Movement fixes (4 hours)
    • Units no longer get caught up for seemingly no reason
    • Will navigate around engaged units when able to
  • Health Regeneration blessing (2 hours)
    • provides health regeneration to allied units for 10 seconds, healing them by 60 points over that time
  • Adjusting some gameplay mechanics to account for integration of assets (1.5 hours)
    • Conditional material assignment
    • Scale and vision
  • UI Adjustments (.5 hours)

    This is 16:9 aspect ratio display


What Went Well

  • It seems as though most major functionality is either done or nearing completion, especially because most required work this week has been tuning existing mechanics
  • Reaching a “light at the end of the tunnel” sort of sense


What Could Have Gone Better

  • Unfortunately, communication and regularity of work
  • I think that more of the small tuning issues could have been resolved than were resolved
  • Still having issues with UI scale and positioning
